A 12 million dollar settlement has been proposed in the class action lawsuit entitled Carlotti, et al. v. ASUS Computer International, et al.,

Class members can file online at www.ASUSLaptopSettlement.com.

The case is under review in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and all claim forms are due by 4/3/2020.

If you fail to file a claim by 4/3/2020 you will not be eligible for any settlement benefits no matter how many lawyers you hire (so the moral of the story? file a claim by the settlement deadline big boy!).

Who should file a claim?

Anyone in the United States who purchased an ASUS Rog Strix GL502VS or GL502VSK laptop between May 4, 2014, and Nov. 19, 2019.

How much money will class members get?

The million-dollar question!

According to settlement documents, we found class members can expect the following reward…

Cash payment up to $110 or a credit certificate up to $210. Consumers who sent a complaint to ASUS before March 19, 2019, will automatically receive a credit certificate. These consumers do not have to submit a Claim Form to receive the credit but must file a claim in order to receive cash payments.

Extended Warranty for ASUS Rog Strix GL502VS laptops. Repairs under warranty will be available through three years after the laptop purchase date, 90 days after final approval of the settlement, or 180 days after a prior replacement of the internal power supply and/or power adapter (whichever is latest). Consumers can obtain a qualifying repair by contacting ACI technical support at their toll-free number: 1-888-678-3688.

ASUS has hired Luanne Sacks, Michele Floyd, Robert B. Bader, and Jacqueline Young from the law firm of SACKS RICKETTS & CASE LLP.
