MyFord Touch Class Action Settlement
An eye-numbing 17 million dollar settlement has been announced in the class action lawsuit entitled In re: MyFord Touch Consumer Litigation.
You can file a claim at www.myfordtouchclassaction.com.
The settlement is in regards to 360,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles purchased or leased between 2010 and August 2013 that came equipped with a MyFord Touch or MyLincoln Touch infotainment system.
Ford denies any actions of wrongdoing but has agreed to the 17 million dollar settlement in order to avoid further trial.
Who should file a claim?
Class Members include those who purchased or leased a Lincoln or Ford equipped with a MyFord Touch or MyLincoln Touch prior to Aug. 9, 2013, in the following states: California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio Virginia, and Washington.

If you fail to file a claim you may still receive monetary compensation between $20-55 BUT if you file a claim you may receive a higher amount.
My Ford Touch Class Action Lawsuit Notes
The case is under review in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Most class members will receive a Claimant ID and PIN on a postcard.
You will be asked to provide the ID and PIN when filing a claim.
Class Members who have not yet received their Claimant ID and PIN, or are unsure if they are eligible, are encouraged to contact the settlement administrator at 1-833-402-1732.
Class members who file a claim will receive between $40 to $400.
