AMCOR Flexibles Unpaid Wages Settlement Notes
- Sandoval v. AMCOR Flexibles Inc.
- Case No. BC617499
- Pending in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles
Plaintiffs Reinaldo Sandoval and Graciela Gonzalez initiated this class action lawsuit against AMCOR, claiming the company violated California labor laws by failing to pay employees for all earned minimum and overtime wages and also for not providing required meal and rest breaks. Additionally, the AMCOR unpaid wages class action lawsuit alleges Class members were denied final wages due and accurate wage statements.
AMCOR denies it did anything wrong but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation. The company has agreed to pay $445K to resolve the claims. This amount will provide for court costs, attorneys’ fees, administration expenses, and incentive awards. Once those have been deducted, the remainder (estimated to be $254,250) will go to settlement class members who do not exclude themselves.
Complete details about the case and settlement are provided on the AMCOR Flexibles Unpaid Wages Settlement website.
